Please be advised that Dr. Copeland is leaving Fondren Orthopedic Group, effective February 28, 2025.
Having grown up as an athlete herself, Dr. Copeland enjoys helping people return to playing the sports they love. She works on minimally invasive procedures, and the most common injuries she treats are knee and shoulder injuries.
The most common procedure that Dr. Copeland performs is knee arthroscopy, for injuries like meniscus tears and ACL reconstruction.

Other than that, it was all easy. Did it all on my phone. Dr. Marilyn Copeland was exceptionally good. She knows her stuff and proved it. Gave me all the information that I could have asked for and answered all the questions I had in her opening speech. It was that thorough. She even came up with a game plan for me and told me all the in and outs for every part. Had it down to the time lines and percentages. She even drew it all up on a sheet of paper as she explained it. I thought to myself, damn, she confident and knows her stuff. I was impressed. I would recommend her to anyone who had a knee injury.

I seen Dr. Copeland for both my shoulders I had moderate to severe pain and limited movement. She decided my right arm was worse and gave me a steroid shot in left shoulder. Within two weeks I was having surgery on my right shoulder and bicep. She was able to squeeze me in during the Christmas holidays which was awesome in itself!!! Everyone from office staff to physical therapy staff were AMAZING!!! Dr Copeland is ABSOLUTELY AWESOMELY AMAZING!!!

						The office staff was very friendly and courteous. The nurses and X-ray tech were awesome also!! This was my first visit with Dr Copeland and she was Very Good with my concerns and her diagnosis!!!
