Accessibility Statement

Accessibility Statement

Fondren Orthopedic Group is committed to making our website available to as many people as possible. We make every effort to ensure website-based communications are accessible to those with visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor impairments by meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Fondren Orthopedic Group acknowledges that internet users with disabilities can find websites difficult to use. We recognize this important issue and are taking necessary steps to ensure that our website is in accordance with known guidelines framed by industry-standard techniques and practices, to provide an acceptable level of accessibility for website users. These include, but are not limited to, the characteristics of usability for most screen reader users, keyboard-only users, and users with impaired hearing and vision.

What Are We Doing?

Fondren Orthopedic Group recognizes that there may be various interpretations of ADA compliance due to the lack of clear and concise published requirements.

We have an internal audit ADA checklist based on industry consortiums and current published criteria, with the goal of improving internet user accessibility; and to communicate how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.

Fondren Orthopedic Group continues to dedicate resources to improve this process and implement new technology and requirements as they become available for Americans with Disabilities. We continue to enhance our website to be compliant with the current World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) guidelines available to us at this time. Current guidelines we are following: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at the AA level.

It is our goal to provide a website that is accessible to everyone. We welcome your feedback. Please send us your questions, comments, or suggestions though our online contact form or by calling our office at (713) 799-2300. Thank you.
